At Accumech Engineering, quality is not just a standard; it is the foundation of everything we do. Every aspect of our facility, from workplace organisation to final inspection, reflects our commitment to precision, consistency and excellence.
Our shop floor follows standardised work practices with dedicated, well-organised workstations. Inspection instruments are segregated, protected and kept at designated locations. Comprehensive inspection documentation is part of every job, with clearly defined quality criteria monitored at each stage of production.
Quality is not simply inspected into our products. It is built into every process, every component and every commitment we make.

Inspection stages
Four checkpoints before a part reaches you
Raw material inspection
- Chemical and physical testing of each raw material as per control plan, against the standard for purchased bright bars, forgings, castings and assembly spares.
- Dimensional inspection of purchased bright bars, forgings, castings and other assembly spares.
In-process inspection
- Set-up approval of every manufacturing process as per the defined control plan and drawing.
- Hourly in-process inspection as per the control plan and drawings.
- Separate identification and traceability of non-conforming products at the in-process stage.
Final inspection
- 100% visual inspection of every lot for missing operations, rust, blow holes, rough finish, dents, tool marks and material defects.
- Sampling dimensional inspection of all critical dimensions as per the control plan.
- 100% dimensional inspection of major critical, close-tolerance dimensions.
- Separate identification and traceability of non-conforming products at the final stage.
Pre-dispatch inspection
- Pre-dispatch inspection to customer requirements, with an inspection report and identified samples referenced to the customer or internal drawing.
